We of the BCHOP, Awakening The Nations committee are excited about what is happening with the event planning.
Some people are generously giving of their time to help with the organizing and others are generously responding to the sponsoship side of the event. When planning this special time, we as a committee decided not to make registration a financial burden, especially for our Pacific Islands neighbours. SO REGISTRATION IS FREE.
The next phase of our plan is to provide accommodation and meals for our overseas visitors, free of cost. The hiring cost of the showgrounds, marquee and sound and lighting has been reached. Thank you so much sponsors. Our next major goal is to finance meals and transport; transport from Brisbane to Bundaberg then the return trip at the end of the event. This is an important issue and we pray that these needs will be met, as the number of Islanders attending will pivot on this. We are aware of the high costs of air fares for our overseas neighbours and whatever we can provide for them while they are here with us, we know will be gratefully received by them.
People wanting to travel from around Australia to the event are invited to register 'on line' or mail us. Powered sites are available at the showgrounds for caravans. Tent sites are also available. Basic meals and snacks during the event will be able to be purchased at a reasonable price. To help plan this, our caterers and volunteers would appreciate knowing if you will require this service. Please advise when registering.
